I’ve worked with Food Not Bombs (FNB) since 2011 in London and Barrie, Ontario. FNB is a loose-knit group of independent collectives, sharing free, usually vegan and vegetarian, food with others.
The group believes that corporate and government priorities are skewed to allow hunger to persist in the midst of abundance. To demonstrate this, FNB serves surplus food gathered from grocery stores, bakeries, and markets that would otherwise go to waste.
I've documented social movements since the G20 in Toronto Canada. I have also documented events of: The Occupy Movement, Idle No More, Black Lives Matter, MMIW, Quebec Student Movement, $15 and Fairness, Shutting down Marineland Canada, Labour issues and more.
